How Does Jesus Meet Us?
Jesus met the woman at the well when she was staying with a man she wasn't married to. He ate with tax collectors and prayed for those who cursed at Him. Jesus died for us while we were still sinners.
As a church, we must be like Him and meet people where they are.
Help For Churches
These organizations are dedicated to reaching out to others for Christ in the lowest of places.
What Can Your Church Do?
Those organizations are a great help, but your church doesn't need them to meet people in the lowest of places. Start ministries for your local hospital or prison so the people there feel the love of God. If you have extra space, house a family without a home, and with the support of your attendees, get them back on their feet.
Because church is a community place, you can host food and clothing drives, and even keep a simple donation bin within reach for people to drop off what they want to share.
Jesus wants the church to be a place of giving, a hospital for the sick in spirit. Never stop your reach for those in the lowest places, it's them who need the Word of God more than anything.
